Saturday Night

My lousy Internet is once again preventing me from uploading photos. Also, my Photoshop is not working so the file sizes would have been huge anyway. The trials and tribulations of being a study abroad student...

We stayed in tonight, having graced the bars and dance floors of Galway with our presence last night. Tomorrow we have to be up bright and early to go to campus for our bus. We're going on a tour of the largest of the Aran Islands, Inis Mor. Supposedly we'll be able to rent bikes to see the whole island, so that will be a different experience than sitting in the bus.

I finally have some actual work to do. There's been plenty of assigned reading which we don't necessarily have to do. The classes are so big and there are no tests, plus the teachers read the important passages out loud in class. In biogeography, though, we had to turn in a lab write-up this past week. And after lab on Tuesday, I'll have another one to do! It's madness, all this real work and thinking I have to do.

Molly and I are going to watch a movie tonight. We have not fully decided yet, but we're thinking about The Princess Bride, because, with any luck, we'll get to see the Cliffs of Insanity from the island tomorrow, or at least a distant view from the bus on the way there.

In one week, I'll be in Paris!
